First and foremost is to not skip eating. While you may believe you are cutting down in calories...you are actually causing your body to hold on to the food it has. The solution is to eat regularly throughout the day fueling your body with whole foods and water. Your metabolism will increase, your stamina and endurance will increase, your appetite will decrease, and your body will produce less fat while it burns more! Learn to "listen" to your body - it knows what's best for you. Eat whole foods and drink water when you're hungry and stop eating once you're full. The other component to successful weight loss is to believe in your change in lifestyle. If you don't believe what you are doing will work, why should you continue to do it? Often times, the lack of belief is not in the program you are following, but rather in yourself. Look inside yourself and know that if you take the steps you will reach the destination. This week I've included an information article called Daily Caloric Intake Control. Have a good week! Until next time...stay on your plan and stay healthy! Pat Take time to taste your food.
Don't gobble food down! Rushing through your meals doesn't give your brain
the time that it needs to signal your body that you are full.
You really have to exercise. Do cardio and this doesn't mean
you have to run. There are plenty of cardio exercises that will give you
results and this even includes walking at a good pace. And add weight
training to the mix because the muscle you'll build will help you burn more
calories. Aim to workout 3-5 days per week. "The world of achievement has always belonged to the optimist." by

Tuna Salad Ingredients: 1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise
To roast your own peppers, cut peppers in half, remove seeds and place peppers cut side-down on a baking sheet. Broil until skin is blackened. Remove peppers from oven and place in a tightly-sealed plastic bag for about 15 minutes to steam. When peppers are cool enough to handle, remove blackened skin with your hands and chop as desired.
