Hi,

Welcome to all of our new subscribers, I'm glad you're here. To all of our old subscribers I'm glad you're here too!

Dieting isn't easy. And I'm sure all of you know that. It takes a lot of effort and willpower to succeed. You need to take support and tips from whatever resources you have available to you. That is why a newsletter like this is so helpful.

One thing that really helps in weight loss is rewards. Set small goals for yourself and when you reach that goal, give yourself a reward. Of course you have to make sure its a non-food reward otherwise it defeats the purpose. For example if you set yourself a goal of losing 5% of your weight, don't reward yourself by going out for a dinner at a favorite restaurant  rather treat yourself to a movie you've been wanting to see or maybe buy yourself a piece of exercise equipment you've been wanting to try.

The rewards will help you succeed. Try it.

Be sure to read the article on making the most of a snack attack and I've included a touching poem on why you should never quit.

Until next week...stay on your plan and stay healthy!

Pat
