Hi,

Welcome to all of our new subscribers, I'm glad you're here. To all of our old subscribers I'm glad you're here too!

When you're dieting, you should take advantage of all the little things you can do to lose weight. Here is a great tip I often take advantage of. Its called the Appetizer Technique for Weight Loss.

When you sit down to a meal and you're absolutely starving, its very easy to overeat. I'm sure we've all done it at one time or another. That's because the stomach is a little slow communicating with the brain and your brain is what determines if you're hungry or not. It takes about 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that it's been fed. During that 20 minutes you can gobble down hundreds of excess calories.

This little bit of information is very useful. You can use it to your advantage. Just have a low calorie appetizer about 20 minutes prior to your main meal. Your stomach will send a signal to your brain that you've been fed and you're less likely to overeat higher calorie items at the main meal.  Hope this technique works for you. Have a great week and visualize your success.

Be sure to read the article on ways to eat tuna. I've also included an article on a beginners program to walking for fitness.

Until next week...stay on your plan and stay healthy!
