One of the most difficult aspects of getting yourself into shape is maintaining
the intense motivation you need to achieve your weight loss goals. After a
month or so into a weight loss program, just about anyone will lose a bit of
their enthusiasm.
Use these tips to help you stay motivated. Be sure to read the article on diets and cheating. I've also included an article with information on how to stop obesity from creeping up on you. Have a good week! Until next time...stay on your plan and stay healthy! Pat When choosing a diet program, think about your lifestyle. Are you away from home a lot? Are you running 100% of the time? Flexibility in areas such as food substitution, or requirements that you weigh your portions and/or keep a diary may be the factors that make a diet the right or wrong choice for you. The diet you choose should be as non-intrusive to your existing lifestyle as possible. This will dramatically increase your likelihood of sticking to it long term.
Choose activities that are fun, not exhausting. Add variety. Develop a repertoire of several activities that you can enjoy. That way, exercise will never seem boring or routine. Wear comfortable, properly fitted footwear and comfortable, loose-fitting clothing appropriate for the weather and the activity. Find a convenient time and place to do activities. Try to make it a habit, but be flexible. If you miss an exercise opportunity, work activity into your day another way. "You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there."
Zero Salad Dressing1/2 cup tomato juice (or V8) Combine all ingredients in jar with tightly fitted top, and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
