Hi everyone,

Welcome to all of our new subscribers, I'm glad you're here. To all of our old subscribers I'm glad you're here too!

I hope everyone has handled the transition well as the lazy days of summer are coming to an end. I know I've spent a lot of time recently getting the kids back to school, signing papers, covering books, etc. but it's a good time to get back on a regular schedule including an eating schedule.

I didn't mean to make school the theme of this issue but I was thinking as I wrote this newsletter about some advice I gave my kids for the coming school year.  I told them it is very important to write down every assignment so you can see what you have to do and what you already completed.

That is good advice for all of us too. We should make it a point to write down a food plan each day and then we can see exactly what we should be eating and if we eat any extra we should write that down too. It is very helpful to see everything written down. Gives you the whole picture. The simple act of writing it down stops you from eating more than you should.

It really works!  Hang in there!

Until next week...stay on your plan and stay healthy!

Pat

P.S. I was thinking about adding a SUCCESS story feature to the newsletter every week.  What do you think?  Any volunteers? Drop me an email at pat@easyweightlosstips.com

Easy Tip Of The Week:

Skip The White Bread

Not only is wheat bread lower in fat and higher in fiber (which makes you feel fuller and helps your digestive system), it may also help your sense of fullness last longer. Since white bread is higher in carbs, it is digested more quickly; this means you’ll feel hungrier faster after eating a sandwich made with white bread rather than whole grain. Also, if you’re supposed to be watching your sugar intake, the high-carb white bread isn’t a good idea. Another way to make wheat even healthier is to choose a "lite" version which will have fewer calories than the regular kind.
