I don't want to wipe out the efforts I've made. Very often during the holiday season I tend to forget about dieting until January. I don't know about you but that idea is really bad. It makes some bad habits. I want to do something different this year. I've been thinking about trying the Weight Watchers program for a while. After reading that inspiring story I told you about last week it may be the thing for me. They have a new program that you can join on line or you can go to the weekly meetings to get that in person support. After checking the program out, I think what Weight Watchers program promotes is that in order to be successful in weight loss you have to look upon it as a lifestyle change and not just a diet. I know my problem with weight loss failure is that often I
think I have to be perfect and give up everything that I like to eat. The real
key to success is to eat what you want but control the portions. With the
Weight Watchers program,
it gives you the option of really eating anything you want but you have to keep

it....maybe you don't really want it......wait 10 minutes. After that, if you
still want it....then have it. The fact that you waited and thought about it is
a sign of success, it's a step in the right direction and it's a behavior
change. The fact that you put more thought into what you're eating and why is
very important.
For the greatest overall health benefits, experts recommend that you do 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic activity three or more times a week and some type of muscle strengthening activity and stretching at least twice a week.
