One more holiday to get through and we'll be home free and hopefully weighing at least the same if not less then when we started. Whatever the results remember its a new year and a new start. Resolutions are a common tradition when a new year begins. Don't make them unachievable. Be specific and make sure they are attainable for you, otherwise you are defeated before you even begin. Rather than making a resolution of losing 50 pounds during the year...make it your goal to exercise 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week. By doing so it will help you make a good habit and you will lose weight as a result. Take it day by day and you can change your life. I've included a wonderful pork recipe for those of you who like to eat the traditional new year's food and be sure to read the two articles on "Staying Motivated" and "What Causes Cravings" Happy New Year to each and every one of you.
